First Doctor's Appointment

Today, I went to my OB for the first time as a pregnant patient.

In the weeks leading up to this appointment, I had been experiencing some anxiety that I would get to the doctor and she would look at me, confused, and say, "Hmmm... you're not pregnant." But fortunately, my anxieties were unfounded.  I am, indeed, pregnant!  It has been confirmed and made official, and the Kritter is growing right on schedule, and is a Giant of an embryo, measuring in at 2.32 cm.

So big is the Kritter at this point that it will graduate in just one week to fetus.  Though I don't think we'll be able to capture the graduation on film, we do have a current photo.  See?

Now, if you look very closely, you can see the beginning of the Kritter's face, arms, and legs.  I'm told all human parts are pretty much there at this point (weird), though they all need to bake for a while longer.
